2D Animator / Motion Designer

Our team operates faceless YouTube channels with over 200 million total views, and we're launching a brand-new animated Shorts channel from the ground up. We're looking for a 2D Animator to join the founding team. About the project: A faceless channel producing short-form animated historical documentaries, cinematic storytelling that millions of people watch and finish. Each video is approximately 1 minute long, in the style of TheHoodieGuy and HistoryDude. Topics include: Serial Killers Drug Lords Historical Disasters Revolutions History's Biggest Stories You're joining a team that's already built a YouTube channel with over 200 million views and knows what it takes to do it again. What you'll be doing: Creating engaging 2D documentaries (1 minute) Owning the full motion cycle: Illustrate and animate characters from scratch Assemble and export the final video (captions, transitions, SFX & music) Delivering fast, polished, high-quality animations that match our visual style Capture viewer attention through pacing, visuals, animation, and motion graphics Requirements: Strong 2D animation portfolio Experience creating illustrations/animations from scratch Good pacing, storytelling & attention to detail Reliable communication and deadline management What we offer: Minimal revisions—you own the final result.
