Operations Manager

Firevolt is an indie game development studio (~40 people) building premium co-op experiences for PC and consoles. Our portfolio spans titles like WheelMates and KingFish, with hundreds of thousands of wishlists each. We're a lean, fast-moving team operating across Europe, with an ambitious growth trajectory over the next few years. We're looking for an Operations Manager to own the operational and financial backbone of the studio reports directly to the CEO. What You'll Do: Own end-to-end contract management: collect, organize, and maintain a central repository of all contractor and vendor agreements, tracking key terms, deadlines, and renewal dates; Collect, verify, and process all incoming invoices from contractors and vendors, reconciling them against contracts and actual deliverables; Track and categorize all outgoing transactions across company bank accounts, maintaining an audit-ready record of all financial documents; Build and maintain a monthly P&L, consolidating spend across projects and entities, giving the CEO regular visibility into burn rate and budget vs. actual; Coordinate payroll-related administration and project cost tracking, working with external accountants and HR providers; Set up and continuously improve systems/workflows for contract management, invoicing, and reporting; Act as the operational point of contact for external accountants, bookkeepers, and admin service providers across our legal entities; Support ad hoc financial reporting requests, including investor updates and board materials. What We're Looking For: Required: 3+ years of experience in finance operations, business operations, or a similar hybrid role, ideally in a startup or small/mid-size company environment; Demonstrated experience owning contract management, AP/invoicing, and P&L reporting end-to-end; Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; comfortable building and maintaining financial models and trackers; Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed, this role carries significant ownership with light day-to-day oversight; Fluent English and Russian; Experience working with Polish company structures. Nice to Have: Experience in gaming, tech, or another IP/royalty-heavy industry; Polish language skills; Prior exposure to M&A prep, investor reporting, or due diligence processes.
