Senior Operations Research / Optimization Engineer — Production Scheduling

Telleqt is looking for a Senior Optimization Engineer for a manufacturing automation project in Thailand. We are building a finite-capacity production scheduling system for food manufacturing. The optimizer must handle multi-stage production, filling, retorting, shared equipment, production calendars, capacity constraints and sequence-dependent changeovers. What we need: strong experience in Operations Research / Mathematical Optimization; MILP, Constraint Programming, scheduling and combinatorial optimization; hands-on experience with OR-Tools / CP-SAT, Gurobi, CPLEX, Timefold or similar; experience with real-world scheduling, planning or resource allocation problems; strong Python or modern C++; experience with heuristics, solver tuning, infeasibility diagnostics and production-quality software. Strong plus: manufacturing / supply chain optimization; finite-capacity or job-shop scheduling; multi-stage production planning; food manufacturing experience. Fully remote, flexible schedule, project-based part-time cooperation. Compensation is discussed individually and depends on experience, availability and expected workload.
