Senior Social Media Manager

We’re looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to join our team in Braga, Portugal, working from office and closely with the team day to day. This is a senior role for someone who genuinely understands social, can take ownership, and is capable of building strategy while also being hands-on with execution. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the social team on a day-to-day basis; Own all official brand social channels end to end; Own the content calendar and maintain the 24h no-gap posting rule; Develop and drive social strategy with a strong growth-hacking mindset; Identify opportunities proactively and bring new ideas to the table; Run campaigns across multiple channels and continuously track, test and iterate performance; Build and coordinate influencer/creator partnerships, including creator waves and a retained creator pool; Manage the editorial direction for showcase accounts; Oversee clip/content pipelines, turning streams, documentary footage and stunts into social content; Act as an escalation point for social/PR statements; Manage day-to-day posting, community operations, tracking and ongoing execution. Requirements: Senior-level experience in social media management; Proven experience managing multiple social channels at high volume; Strong people-management and team-leadership experience; Excellent editorial judgment and strong critical-thinking skills; Genuine passion for social media and understanding of what drives growth; Strong strategic mindset - able to spot opportunities rather than simply execute instructions; Comfortable working with 18+ / adult content constraints; Comfortable with manual posting and workflows where mainstream social scheduling tools are unavailable; Strong English communication skills. Based in Portugal; Comfortable working on-site from our Braga office.
