QA Engineer

🟣 Company: B2B SaaS platform for influencer analytics 🌍 Geography: Remote, outside Russia 🕘 Schedule: CET ±2 🗣 Languages: Russian C2, English B2 📋 Key responsibilities · Test new functionality of the web platform, Data API and billing (subscriptions, tokens, payment providers). · Investigate complex support tickets: reproduce the issue, find the root cause in logs and data, write clear tasks for developers. · Take part in the launch of the new billing and the connection of new data sources. · Manually verify new features before release, then cover critical scenarios with automated regression tests. · Gradually automate key regression (API, payments, core web platform flows) and build helper tools to speed up routine checks. 🛠 Product stack: Java, Python, MongoDB, ClickHouse, MySQL, Elasticsearch, HBase, Redis. Payments: Stripe, PayPal. ✅ Requirements · 4+ years in QA, preferably in product companies (SaaS, API, working with support). · Confident API testing: REST, JSON, authorization, Postman or curl. · Ability to verify data with database queries. · Independent issue localization with DevTools and server logs: you can tell whether the error is in the frontend, backend or data. · Understanding of payment systems: webhooks, transaction statuses, request idempotency. · Ability to read Python or Java code and write automated tests (e.g. Pytest or Playwright). · Experience using AI tools (Claude, Copilot, Cursor) to write scripts and tests, and the ability to review generated code. · Readiness for manual testing and a pragmatic approach to automation: the product changes fast, so autotests are needed where they are truly justified. · Independence: you decide what and how to test based on use cases and business value. · Russian C2, English B2+ (documentation and client requests). · Located outside Russia.
